Job description:
- Emergency Care: Respond to medical emergencies involving children anywhere in the hospital, including resuscitation and Code Blue situations, providing basic and advanced life support as appropriate as part of an MDT.
- Procedures: Assist or perform essential patient care related procedures (e.g., intubation; insertion of central lines, arterial line, intercostal drain, haemo-dialysis catheter)
- Procedural Sedation and Transport of Sick Kids: Provide safe procedural sedation-analgesia (PSA) for children requiring various procedures under sedation in Day Care Unit and Radiology Department. Be a part of the team responsible for safe transport of sick kids to different areas of the hospital as and when required.
- Work in a MDT environment: Maintain a good rapport with the MDT members supported by good communication skill.
- Family Support: Provide support and education to the family members with empathy as part of family centred care model we follow.
