Job description:

  • Minimum Qualifications D Pharm/B Pharm/M Pharm with Telangana PCI Registration
  • Technical Qualifications – MS Office
  • Minimum 5+ years in Pharmacy as Incharge in Healthcare Industry.
  • Coordination with the staff and ability to work in a team
  • Able to speak local language along with understanding of Hindi and English.
  • Work Location: Madinaguda/Khammam

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain proper inventory of pharmacy, dispensing medication in OP and IP indent handling.
  • Overall goal of Incharge is to enable the smooth operations of Pharmacy and ensure that all prescriptions presented are fully serviced.
  • Responsible for coordinating with the Doctors to ensure that the Pharmacy is able to service all OP / IP prescriptions.
  • Should ensure that inventory levels are continuously monitored and that requisitions (for one weeks stock) are raised every day for items which are below Re-Order Level.
  • Responsible for all stock in the Pharmacy and must make sure that there are no discrepancies between system and physical value of stocks.
  • Should ensure that all standard procedures are followed by the Pharmacists.
  • Responsible for training and mentoring all new Pharmacists - this includes training on internal procedures, customer management, recommendation of substitutes, drug usage counseling etc.
  • Responsible for managing the pharmacists. Any issues that they might have should be addressed by the supervisor and escalated to the next level.
  • Responsible for maintaining the Pharmacy in a neat and logical fashion; should ensure that all stocks in the Pharmacy are labelled and arranged in a logical manner.
  • Should also ensure that stocks move in first-in-first-out (FIFO) manner so that we minimize the chances of expiry.
  • Responsible for conducting stock-taking of the entire Pharmacy once every month.
  • Responsible for identifying non-moving and near expiry drugs and returning to the Purchase dept. once every month.
