Job description:

  • Provide direct nursing care to paediatric patients, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and preparing patients for procedures.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical, emotional, and developmental needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
  • Educate patients and families on health issues, treatment plans, and post-discharge care.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
  • Supervise and mentor junior nursing staff and support staff in the Paediatric Ward.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and training programs.
  • Respond to emergencies in a calm and efficient manner, providing appropriate care.
