Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with IP and OP departments to ensure smooth patient service and support throughout the patient journey.
- Arrange drafted discharge summaries, medical reports, and required clearances by coordinating with doctors, nursing staff, and other departments.
- Meet newly admitted patients and their family members, provide room orientation, and address their queries or concerns.
- Collect patient feedback and coordinate with concerned departments to resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Coordinate with the nursing team for patient service requests and ensure proper documentation and case sheet completion.
- Liaise with doctors and nursing staff to ensure timely clearances for billing and discharge processes.
- Explain the discharge process to patients and their families, including the expected Turnaround Time (TAT), and ensure smooth discharge completion.
- Support the nursing team by attending call bells or telephones during their absence and assist in ensuring better patient care.
- Provide room orientation to patients, including handing over freshness kits, sharing Wi-Fi details, and explaining hospital facilities.
- Coordinate with consultants to ensure completion of cross-referral visits when required.
