Job description:

  • Diagnose complex neurological conditions through detailed neurological examinations, physical assessments, and review of patient medical history.

  • Provide medical advice and counseling to patients regarding their neurological conditions and past medical history.

  • Order appropriate neurological investigations and interpret neuroimaging studies such as CT scans, MRI, and EEG reports.

  • Prescribe medications and develop comprehensive treatment plans for neurological disorders.

  • Deliver ongoing medical care and monitor patient progress throughout treatment.

  • Educate patients about nervous system disorders, including symptoms, risk factors, genetic components, and environmental influences.

  • Monitor and assess the side effects of medications and therapies, particularly their impact on behavior, cognition, and overall neurological function.
