Job description:
- Assist diagnostic and surgical procedures for admitted and OPD patients.
- Demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement in patient care, including reorganization of services and development of new clinical programs.
- Ensure high levels of patient satisfaction through courteous, ethical, and compassionate interactions with patients and their attendants.
- Attend to all orthopaedic patients admitted to the hospital.
- Maintain accurate and complete medical records, including preparation, correction, and signing of discharge summaries.
- Participate, conduct workshops, camps, and patient education/health awareness programs.
- Participate in clinical research and academic activities aimed at improving patient care and outcomes.
- Be proficient in the assessment and management of trauma and emergency orthopaedic cases.
- Perform routine and emergency orthopaedic surgical procedures as per competency and institutional protocols.
- Conduct ward rounds as per the prescribed schedule and unit requirements.
- Attend to casualty/emergency duties as per the duty roster and institutional guidelines.
