Job description:
- Maintain accurate and complete medical records, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
- Coordinate with nursing staff, pharmacy, diagnostics, and allied departments for patient care delivery.
- Ensure proper handover during shift changes to maintain continuity of care.
- Assist in medico-legal documentation and compliance as required.
- Provide round-the-clock medical coverage for inpatients across wards, ICU, and HDU.
- Assess, monitor, and manage admitted patients as per consultant instructions and hospital protocols.
- Handle medical emergencies, initiate resuscitation, and stabilize patients until senior consultants arrive.
- Assist consultants during ward rounds, procedures, and emergency interventions.
- Ensure timely execution of investigations, treatment plans, and follow-up orders.
