Job description:

  • An OT Technician, also known as an Operating Room Technician or Surgical Technologist, is responsible for assisting surgeons and other medical professionals during surgical procedures
  • Preparing the operating room for surgical procedures by ensuring that all necessary equipment and supplies are available and in good working order
  • Preparing the patient for surgery by cleaning and disinfecting the surgical site and positioning the patient on the operating table
  • Monitoring the patient's vital signs during surgery and alerting the surgical team of any changes or abnormalities
  • Collecting and preparing specimens for laboratory analysis
