Job description:
- Conducts functional assessment and develops a plan using treatment technique to promote improvement in the activity of daily living of patients and individuals which includes improvement or restoration of physical function and prevention of disability.
- Treats and assists patients or individuals in preventing the loss of mobility before it occurs by developing fitness and wellness- oriented programs for healthier and more active lifestyles.
- Provides treatments to patients or individuals as clinically indicated or prescribed by the attending physician or organized and structured patient care plan agreed upon by the physician and other multi-disciplinary team members.
- Performs all clinical procedures and treatments following the evidence-based practice and the clinical policy and procedures or guidelines established by the department, the hospital, the Department of Health Authority (DHA) and the Joint Commission International (JCI).
- Provides or assists with clinical support and supervision to other Junior Physical Therapists when required.
REQUIREMENTS :
- Bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy.
- Current license of practice in country of origin or country point of hire and/or Dubai Health Authority (DHA), United Arab Emirates.
- Minimum of two (2) years of clinical experience post-certification as an Occupational Therapist in Pediatric.
- Must have excellent communication skills and Interpersonal Skills
