Medical Oncologist

• Provide surgical care to patients with cancer, including the evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of cancerous tumors
• Perform surgical procedures, such as resections, excisions, and biopsies, using advanced surgical techniques and technologies
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, and other specialists, to develop and implement treatment plans for patients
• Evaluate and manage post-operative care, including monitoring patients for potential complications and providing appropriate follow-up care
• Conduct research and participate in clinical trials to improve the surgical treatment of cancer

The Surgical Oncologist will be responsible for providing comprehensive surgical management of cancer patients. The role demands high surgical expertise, multidisciplinary collaboration, patient-centered care, and contribution towards enhancing Heritage Hospitals’ oncology program.
