Key Responsibilities:
- To look after complete Engineering activities including projects and ensure the smooth functioning of engineering maintenance of building and utilities etc.
- Ensure smooth running of Preventive, predictive & breakdown management of services & building in the hospital.
- Preparation of PM Schedule for all major services/areas and ensure adherence of P.M Schedule as per the specific PM check list.
- To prepare Preventive maint. Check list for specific services and critical areas and ensure implementation.
- Develop Master/history card for major services/critical areas and ensure updation.
- Develop format for Breakdown maint. Log book and ensure regular updation and recording of breakdowns round the clock.
- Ensure adherence of calibration schedule for all critical metering/gauges etc.
- Ensure proper management of spares and consumables.
- Ensure energy saving by implementing various energy conservation measures, using energy efficient products, (light fixtures, building envelop media), better capacity planning and having flexibility in services for optimal utilization.
- Enhancement of capacity of engineering resources to meet the requirement.
- Management of expansion of services, medical facilities and patient areas and setting up of interiors to meet the required standards.
- Planning of projects, budgeting, capacity planning , finalization of contracts getting the project completed and ready for occupation as per the set target..
- Annual budgeting for all engineering activities.
- Ensure availability and timely renewal of licences required to run specific services.
- Recommendation for addition of any service, facility with proper justification and value addition in the hospital working by adding those facilities
- To assess the requirement coming from all areas (medical and non-medical) of the hospital and recommend fulfilling with justification.
- Finalization of technical manpower and contractual manpower service providing agency,
- Recommending/executing any change required to execute to add aesthetic value in hospital property.
