Job description:
- To set up machine by attaching dialyzer and tubing.
- To receive patient and check weight and vital signs.
- To explain procedure and operations of dialysis machine and answer patient queries.
- To carry out procedure and monitor patient.
- Responsible for cleaning and maintenance of dialysis equipment.
- To record post dialysis weight and vital signs of patients.
- To provide information to patient about dialysis.
- To inform consultants about any adverse reactions.
- To follow biomedical waste protocol.
- To clean and sterilize all the tubings.
- To document case sheets properly.
- To maintain discipline and good inter personal relations
- To coordinate with other staff in the ward / unit.
- Participate in hospital quality improvement activities.
- Equipment operation and equipment safety.
- Mandate Registration in the diploma dialysis.
- Strong technical aptitude for operating medical equipment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and patient-oriented approach.
