Job description:

  • Receiving / washing area, packing area, sterile area
  • To receive handover of packs from Scrub sister / ORA after surgery is over.
  • Cleaning of instruments and if required cleaning them especially scopes and fine instruments.
  • Drying of surgical instruments.
  • Segregation and checking of surgical instruments functionality, damage, cracks, rust, etc.
  • Regular maintenance of instruments like oiling and rust removal process.
  • Preparation of surgical sets as per the checklist.
  • Packing and labeling of the surgical sets as per the specialty.
  • Sterilization of surgical instruments as per protocols. (Steam, EO, Plasma)
  • Loading, unloading and distribution of sterile goods after checking all sterility parameters.
  • (Physical, Chemical and biological.)
