Job description:
- Perform and interpret diagnostic tests, including cytopathology, hematopathology, biochemistry, immunohistochemistry, and microbiology.
- Analyze and evaluate laboratory data, including tissue samples, blood smears, body fluids, and molecular analyses to provide accurate diagnoses.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including clinicians to provide comprehensive diagnostic reports and contribute to patient management.
- Ensure compliance with NABL standards, laboratory policies, and procedures to maintain the highest level of quality and patient safety.
- Participate in quality control activities, proficiency testing, and external quality assurance programs to monitor and improve laboratory performance.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of pathology services.
