Job description:

  • Provide immediate assessment, diagnosis, and management of patients presenting with medical, surgical, trauma, and cardiac emergencies.
  • Ensure rapid stabilization and resuscitation of critically ill patients using evidence-based emergency care protocols.
  • Supervise and participate in advanced life support procedures (ACLS, BLS, ATLS) and emergency interventions.
  • Coordinate transfer of patients to ICU, OT, or other departments, ensuring safe handover and continuity of care.
  • Handle mass casualty situations and disaster emergencies as per hospital disaster management protocols.
  • Liaise with specialists across departments (Cardiology, Surgery, Orthopedics, Critical Care, etc.) for timely consultations.

  • Professional approach to be adapted with all patients, staff and visitors. 
  • To provide medical cover, routine and emergency, during hours of duty and work in conjunction with the other specialties to serve the institute.

  • To assist the Consultants for rounds apart from taking independent rounds themselves and should follow up the patients for any further care (change in plan of Treatment).
