  • Responsible for blood grouping.
  • Performing cross-matching.
  • Conducting Du Test, Rh titre and blood collection from donors.
  • Accountability for transfusion reaction work-up.
  • Responsibility for equipment maintenance.
  • Indenting material for the section.
  • Monitoring and mentoring subordinates.
  • Reporting any mishap or deviation from defined protocols to the in-charge.

  • Preparation and setting up trolley for bouges, airways, laryngoscopes and telescopic bronchoscope.
  • Assisting for procedures outside OT like Cathlab, Radiology, Endoscopy which require anaesthesia sedation.
  • Preparing drugs and equipment for postoperative analgesia like PCA Epidural analgesia and Peripheral nerve blocks.
