Job description:

  • The Consultant will be responsible for overseeing the operations of the Blood Bank, ensuring safe Collection, Storage, testing and the distribution of blood and blood products.
  • Monitor abd improve blood utilization and inventory management to reduce waste and shortages.
  • Oversee the inventory management of blood products, ensuring optimal levels to meet patient needs.
  • Ensure the Blood Bank is equipped to handle large scale emrgencies or disasters.
